Redefine Age. Create Legacy. Become a Force.

Our Vision
BTW is a global community of exceptional women who proactively seek and share information, experience and insights to help each other successfully transition through the unique issues of women 50+.

Our Mission
BTW unites forward thinking women 50+ in an authentic, synergistic community of celebration to shift the aging perspective; create legacies for self and others; and be a recognizable force-politically, socially, economically.

btw event-drinksThe Question is: What's Next?

  • You know, I'm planning to live to at least 100…will my money last?
  • Do I need to retire when I’ve got so much more to give?
  • How do I keep this body in primo condition?
  • My adult children are moving back in with me, and I’m taking care of my aging parents at the same time.

Somebody forgot to mention that, with age and wisdom comes a whole new set of challenges!!

Here are some of our most common concerns, straight from the mouths of our members:

  • How do I make/keep my marriage healthy and zesty?
  • What if I’m re-entering the dating scene?
  • Should I take hormone replacements?
  • I need help managing my wealth.
  • What are the best eldercare options?
  • I've got a book in me and I need help getting it out!
  • I've got a book on paper and want to get it published!
  • I need help focusing my philanthropic nature.

BTW is the brain and heart child of Dr. Tessa Albert Warschaw (“Dr. Tess”), a nationally recognized psychotherapist, life coach, best-selling author, and internationally known seminar leader. Through her private coaching practices, corporate coaching and book tours, Dr. Tess unearthed a marked inconsistency between the quantity of information targeting women in their 20’s and 30’s and quantity of information and resources supporting women in their 40’s, 50’s and beyond.

Dr. Tess found that women in the transitional time near 50+ have as many—or more—dreams, interests and goals as their younger counterparts. That said, these women have a unique set of life circumstances and experiences that requires an uncommonly wise and “big thinking” brand of support—each other!

Dr. Tess founded BTW as a means for women to help each other to live dreams, find joy, and redefine age in the 21st century. BTW’s meet to:

  • Share wisdom and information
  • Reinvent themselves
  • Restructure their lives
  • Rewrite the aging perspective
  • Build enduring legacies
  • Demand political, social and economic presence in to global community
  • Create a consistent group of “girlfriends” to, support eachothers' personal endeavors and dreams and to hold each other accountable.
  • Live, dream, find joy
  • Laugh until they fall off their chairs! (figuratively, of course)

Members (and nonmembers for a special charge) are invited to monthly seminars, facilitated by Dr. Tess, with credentialed speakers, lectures, valuable presentations, and dinner. BTW members gather in an atmosphere of joy, trust, relaxation, humor, mutual respect, and friendship. They focus on a variety of issues including glowing health at 50+, creating a philanthropic life and legacy, eldercare for aging parents, entrepreneurship, authoring a book, “reparenting” grown children who’ve moved back in, sexuality, protecting and expanding wealth into the next phase of life, divorce, dating, personal style, and the list goes on.

BTW membership is broad-based, diverse, and embraces women in all phases and stages of success including women approaching the 50’s to women in their 70’s and beyond.

Through our credentialed speakers, our interactive website, and the strength of our membership, we give you the tools to help secure your financial future, your health, your dreams, your ever-shaping personal legacy, and your own moxie...hustpah...joi de vivre.
