Dr. Tessa Albert Warschaw

 

Tessa Albert Warschaw, Ph.D., is a distinguished author, psychotherapist/coach, and internationally recognized seminar leader, specializing in corporate negotiating strategies, entrepreneurial negotiating, and life coaching. She has a private coaching practice in West Los Angeles and Woodland Hills. She has served on the boards of Break The Cycle, NAFE Foundation’s Esteem Team Mentoring Program, Madison Avenue Boys and Girls Club (Advisory Board), Women in Business, Women’s Advisory Board for Mass Mutual, and is a standing member of the National Museum of Women’s History.

Dr. Warschaw is the author of the pioneering and best-selling book, Winning by Negotiation (McGraw Hill 1980,1985. Japanese, French, and Spanish translations), Rich Is Better (Doubleday, 1985, New American Library, 1996), co-authored Winning with Kids (Bantam, 1988, German and Italian translations), and, her newest co-authored book, Resiliency: How to Bounce Back Faster, Stronger, Smarter (Master Media, 1995, TWG 2002, 2003) is a Book-of-the-Month Club Selection, One Spirit Club, and Quality Paperback Book Club.

Her corporate coaching is designed for those seeking to improve their already skilled performance and those who must rectify their weaknesses as managers and team players. She uses the DISC Assessment and The Warschaw Styles Assessment to enable clients to better understand the impact of their style on their clients, colleagues, Board members, and staff. Warschaw is committed to enable managers to move through the “change process” with as little angst as possible. Her program is designed to improve the following: a) interpersonal communication and personal productivity b) team productivity and c) bottom line results. Warschaw also uses the DISC Assessment in her private practice.

She has conducted international seminars in Canada, England, Switzerland, Mexico, Malaysia, and Sabae. She has created, developed and implemented customized workshops, seminars, and training programs for these companies and organizations.

Warschaw’s latest venture is that of Founder of BTW UNLTD (Big Thinking Women) an organization created for women 50+. Its goals are simple: Shift the “aging” perspective; create legacies for self and others as well as those to follow; become a recognized force-politically, socially, economically for women 50+ issues (from money to menopause to memory; from medical services to financial services; from rewiring to reinventing to retiring).
